Our wild Humboldt squid—also known as Jumbo or Flying squid—are fast-growing marvels of the deep, harvested sustainably in the rich Pacific waters off Peru. Caught using traditional jigging methods (no nets, no bycatch), these squid are landed with precision and care. 

We prepare only the best: thick-cut steaks from the mantle—the most tender and flavourful part. Each steak is cleaned, naturally tenderized, and left chemical-free to deliver a clean, ocean-fresh taste packed with lean protein and virtually no fat.

How To Prepare Wild Humboldt Squid

Think steak—but smarter, leaner, and ready in minutes. 

For best results: thaw overnight in the fridge, pat dry, season or marinate, and choose your method. 

Grill it with a brush of olive oil and squeeze of lemon. Pan-sear it with garlic and herbs until lightly golden. Slice it into strips and stir-fry or simmer into soups, paella, or pasta. 

The mild, naturally sweet flavour makes it a sponge for bold spices and sauces. Just don’t overcook—it only needs 1–2 minutes per side to turn tender and sublime.
